Dr. Ybarra is a dedicated educator with deep roots in Edinburg CISD. She is a proud graduate of Edinburg North High School, where her educational journey began. Her commitment to learning and academic excellence led her to the University of Texas Pan American, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish with a minor in English.
Driven by her passion for education and leadership, Dr. Ybarra pursued further studies and earned her Master's degree in Educational Leadership from the same university. She continued to excel in her academic pursuits and achieved her Doctor of Education degree from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, specializing in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Literacy.
Her academic background equips her with a deep understanding of effective teaching strategies and curriculum development, making her a valuable resource for both students and fellow educators. Her journey as a student in Edinburg CISD has come full circle, and she is now committed to shaping the educational experiences of the next generation.
