Ms. Hilda Alejandro has a Master’s in Education Administration from Grand Canyon University, 2010; a Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics with a Minor in English from University of Texas Pan American, 2007; and an Associates of Arts in Secondary Education from South Texas College, 2005. She has served Longoria Middle School as the Curriculum Assistant Principal since 2016 where some of the responsibilities include providing curriculum and assessment resources, instructional support, staff professional development, overseeing Federally Funded Special Programs and Budget, Special Populations, Title I, tutorial program, Student Success Initiative, and State Testing. Formerly, Ms. Alejandro served as the District Mathematics Specialist for Secondary Schools for Edinburg CISD from 2012-2016. Some of the primary responsibilities as the District Math Specialist was to lead a team of Secondary Math Teachers in the development of the District Math Curriculum and provide District Professional Development for Secondary Math Teachers. Ms.Alejandro was a High School Mathematics teacher in Sharyland ISD from 2007-2012 and a College Tutor for South Texas College from 2005-2007.
